SEVEN SUBSEA WONDERS - new wonders suggested!
What is the Colosseum of Subsea? What do you think - which SUBSEA WONDERS should be on the final list of seven wonders?
Take control of corrosion
Corrosion and erosion are among the oil industry’s worst enemies. To address this, ClampOn has developed a measurement instrument providing high-level corrosion control - subsea included.
OIL ANALYST: - The subsea sector will double in size
The subsea adventure has just begun. Within five years the subsea sector will double in size, and within twenty years the subsea production will be on par with traditional oil and gas production offshore.
PROCAP: Nanotechnology to boost recovery
Nano technology and laser drilling are some of the technologies in which Petrobras will invest as part of its PROCAP Future Vision Program.
Welcome to UTC 2012
The Underwater Technology Foundation once more welcomes you to the Underwater Technology Conference (UTC), the 18th UTC since we started in 1980. We are proud to announce that Norwegian Secretary of State for Petroleum and Energy Ole Borten Moe will attend and deliver the opening address at UTC 2012.
When the going gets tough – we go subsea
Most of the “easy oil” has already been found. Tomorrow's oil and gas production will be at greater depths, in areas with a more complicated infrastructure and in a harsher environment. All this will present major new opportunities for subsea installations – which will go “longer, deeper, colder”.
Call for abstracts
Join the challenge of tailoring the complete subsea solution, sharing your experiences and your solutions for the future at UTC 2012. You are invited to present an abstract for consideration.
Submittal guidelines and requirements
All received abstracts will be revised by the UTC Programme Committee.
Submittal deadline 1 December 2011.
Great perspectives for subsea
UTF Chairman Henning Bødtker welcomes HRH the Crown Prince of Norway to the 17th Underwater Technology Conference in Bergen.
HRH Crown Prince Haakon will attend UTC 2011
We are proud to announce that HRH Crown Prince Haakon will attend the subsea technology conference UTC in Bergen, Norway.
UTC 2011 Programme
"The future of the subsea industry depends more on how to incorporate good ideas into common work practice than merely on being a site for innovative performance."
New record - Call for papers
We have received a record number of papers. The Programme Committee are at the end of the evaluation process and are working hard to design a complex and innovative UTC programme with high quality speakers.
All contributors will be contacted before Christmas.
The UTC 2011 Programme will be launched at the end of January 2011.
"SUBSEA CHIEF ENGINEERS CHALLENGES"
For the first time UTC will present a panel discussion with Subsea Chief Engineers from BP, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Shell and Statoil.
Submittal requirements - Call for Papers 2011
The UTC has a well known history of presenting highly competent speakers on current topics regarding the subsea industry.
Moderators comments
We often see technologies put into play on the Norwegian Continental Shelf that have arisen in response to a specific challenge. And as the NCS matures, the need for improved recovery grows ever more acute, challenging the industry to continue its development and deployment of increasingly efficient production technologies that ensure increased yields from existing reserves.
The most important Subsea Technology Conference 2011
The Underwater Technology Conference - UTC - has a well known history of presenting highly competent speakers on current and important topics regarding the subsea industry. For the 17th Underwater Technology Conference we are expecting more than 600 delegates consisting of executives, managers, engineers and other strategic personnel related to the subsea field of the petroleum industry.
We welcome you to the Subsea capitol of Norway!
The UTC Programme Committee 2011
The programme committee is appointed by the Underwater Technology Foundation. The committee's main task is to decide upon which abstracts will be selected to hold a presentation at the Conference.
Programme reconfirmed
We are pleased to inform delegates that we can offer the same key note speakers and the same programme as was communicated for the April conference.
Brilliant Key note speakers to UTC
The programme committee is proud to be able to present a great programme for UTC 22 - 23 September.
Exciting field trip to Ågotnes!
