Welcome to the 28th Underwater Technology Conference

UTC2022 – Subsea leading the way in the energy transition

In Bergen, Norway 14 – 16th June 2022

The 28th annual Underwater Technology Conference will be back in its physical form in Bergen, Norway 14 – 16th June 2022.  On Day 0, June 14th – there will be a full day of seminars; the ‘UTC Marine Minerals’ and the ‘UTC Market Outlook’ hosted at the USF Verftet. June 15th and 16th for the main UTC program hosted at the Grieghallen.

The overall goal of the Underwater Technology Conference is to be the most relevant meeting arena where new contacts are created, contracts are signed, knowledge is shared, and important relations and network cultivated. Do not miss the opportunity to reengage with the subsea technology industry most influential Executives, Managers, Engineers, Strategy &Planning personnel as well as the Subsea academicians.

This year’s conference theme is “Subsea leading the way in the energy transition”. We want to ensure our relevance in the new energy domain. Subsea technology has for decades provided robust, compact and energy efficient solutions to the Oil and Gas industry. Our professionals are enthusiastic about sharing experience and adapting to the future energy needs.

Since its Inauguration in 1980, Bergen has served as the host city for the world’s oldest subsea conference. UTC has since become a widely recognized conference, which attracts participants from all parts of the international subsea community. The UTC is hosted jointly by the Underwater Technology Foundation (UTF) and GCE Ocean Technology in close cooperation with its hosting partners SPE Bergen and FFU.

The delegates attending the conference are a success factor for UTC. A relevant and applicable technical program, as well as arenas for networking and discussions, have a high focus when planning for the event. The Program Committee consists of Norwegian and International professionals, from both operators and suppliers, ensuring a conference program of high standards. Delegates are invited to a related seminar on Market and Investors Relations, and networking events.

UTC also want to continue to be a place where innovation is introduced and where the spark for further cooperation and new technology solutions is lit.

We hereby invite you to to participate and make UTC an even greater subsea event!
