Practical experience in all aspects related to well completion and subsea equipment installation and operation, both on- and offshore. Technical work has included early phase well design, input to Design Bases, technical input to Development Plan Applications, client liaison, tendering, contract negotiation, managing subsea equipment contracts, preparation of equipment functional specifications, test and installation procedures and offshore supervision of operation/installation. She has work experience from Norway, the UK, USA and Canada. Managerial work has included site manager, technical manager, project manager, manager HSE, head of department and section manager.

Jon Arve Graduated from Bergen Tech Collage in 1979 – BSc Engineering.
Started his career in Frank Mohn AS, the world Leading supplier of cargo pumps for product and chemical tankers same year. He had many different positions in application engineering, sales and business development including responsibility for the capture of the production system for Oseberg subsea satellite project as early as 1986. Sales manager for Oil and Gas division from 1990 -94. Jon Arve started in Framo Engineering in 1994 in sales and business development with global responsibility for the complete range of products ranging through subsea multiphase meters-, multiphase pumps , wet gas compressors and swivel systems for FPSO’s . He took and active part in the formation of OneSubsea in 2013 with an executive position at the Houston Head office for the first years of operations. Current position is Head of Business strategy. Jon Arve is also Chairman of the Board of Global Center of Expertise (GCE Ocean ), a cluster of some 120 member companies in the subsea industry.

Bente Festøy graduated as Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 1984. She started her professional carrier in Det Norske Veritas with risk analysis, before building her fundamental foundation as process engineer in Kværner Engineering. Her broad competence within subsea and surface installations is gained through all project phases from feasibility studies to project start-up. She has held positions as department manager, engineering manager and project manager. In 2011 she joined Equinor and is currently working as project manager for subsea technology development and implementation.

Senior Project R&D Engineer - A/S Norske Shell
Jan-Olav graduated as PhD in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 1992. He joined AS Norske Shell in 2014 as a Team Lead for Subsea Controls and has recently moved on to a position as Senior Project R&D Engineer, responsible for technology deployment within Norske Shell’s project portfolio. He has more than 25 years of experience within the oil & gas industry, and has held various technology and technology management positions within Oceaneering, Hitec Systems, Poseidon Group, and Siemens Subsea.

Kristin Nergaard Berg
Principal Engineer - DNV GL
Principal Engineer with 20 years+ experience from the oil & gas industry. Kristin has worked over 10 years for DNV GL and been involved in a high variety of subsea projects related to product development and technology qualification, providing advice and verification for operators, supply chain and authorities. Her experience also includes heading DNV GL’s Subsea Technology section and managing several larger and smaller projects, including Joint Industry Projects. Previous to DNV GL, Kristin worked with subsea instrumentation in Roxar.

She has 15+ years’ experience with product development and qualification, and has since 2005 held various management positions in Schlumberger and Baker Hughes/GE Oil & Gas, within program management, quality management and strategic sourcing. Ranveig Nygaard Bjørk
Research Director Measurement Science - NORCE
Ranveig Nygaard Bjørk is research director within measurement science at NORCE Norwegian Research Center. She has more than 15 years of experience within fiscal measurement, uncertainty analysis, multiphase flow metering and hydrocarbon field and ownership allocation. She is steering group leader of Norwegian Center for Geothermal Energy Research (CGER) and more than 10 years of experience within geothermal energy research, focusing on cluster establishment and research driven innovation. She has extended experience from project management, coordination and administration of research and scientific activities and has participated and lead numerous projects involving expert services for industrial partners with the aim of research-based innovation. Her scientific background is within instrumentation, digital signal processing, optimization techniques, communication systems and computer simulations.

Kim Løseth (b. 1985) has both a B.Sc. in Mechatronics from University in Agder (2009) and a M.Sc. in Underwater Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (2011). He began his career at Subsea 7 as a graduate engineer in 2011 where he was mainly working in SURF project as analysis engineer. In 2015 he started as a Senior Engineer at NUI where he has worked under the test and analysis department, with various tasks such as in-house development projects, testing of diving systems and equipment and hyperbaric testing. In 2020 he started as a department manager for Test and Analysis.

Stig has more than 20 years’ experience from the Oil & Gas industry, serving the Subsea industry since 2012. With a Master in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU he spent his first years as a process engineer, but quickly moved into business development and more commercial roles. With core competence within processing and rotating equipment he followed the equipment subsea, by joining TechnipFMC in 2012 as Sales & BD Manager for Subsea Systems. Stig has been Board Member of Underwater Technology Foundation (UTF) since 2016.

Hildegunn has worked in the subsea industry since her graduation from the University of Glasgow, Scotland in 1999. She has a bachelor in Mechanical engineering and a Master in Business Administration from Napier University, Scotland. She joined FMC Technologies at Dunfermline, Scotland in 1999 and moved to FMC Technologies, now TechnipFMC, at Kongsberg, Norway in 2006. She has held many different technical and leadership roles throughout her time at TechnipFMC. She started her career in the product engineering department within Completion and Workover. In Kongsberg she joined the system engineering group and worked as Project Engineering manager for several years. She was the leader for Technical safety and reliability Eastern Region, and later Chief System engineer within Field development. From 2015 she was the global Technology manager for Structures, Manifolds and Pipeline systems. She transitioned to digital in 2019 as Digital Services and Innovation Operations manager, and is now part of the Subsea Digital division, leading the Digital Twin Program and digital lead for Norway.

With his 35 years’ experience, Bjørn Kahrs has an extensive knowhow and experience in subsea intervention work. His experience includes Senior Project Management for larger Subsea Construction projects, EPCI and SURF. He holds both an MBA and a Master degree in Subsea Engineering. He also has experience from working offshore on offshore construction vessels as; Diver, Field Engineer, Offshore Manager and Client Representative. His experience comes from; 3 years with Statoil, 20 years with Subsea 7, 3 years as CEO for Randaberg Industries, 4 years as Mayor of Randaberg Municipality, 4 years with DeepOcean, and is currently Regional Director with Norwegian Energy Partners (Norwep) responsible for UK, Egypt, West Africa, Indonesia and Australia as well as task responsible for Subsea Tie-back and P&A including Decommissioning.

Lea has a broad experience of management positions within the Norwegian oil and gas industry, primarily in the area of HSE. Before joining Wintershall Dea, she had various leadership roles in Mærsk Drilling and the Norwegian safety regulator PSA, later becoming the Head of HSEQ for Wintershall Norge. Lea has experience in HSE, occupational health & safety, chemical risk management, quality assurance and regulatory development, audits and supervision activities. She holds an MSc in Offshore Technology specialisation within Environmental Technology from University of Stavanger (UiS).

Elizabeth graduated as Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Norwegian University of Technology and Science (NTNU) in 1999. She has 20 years of experience within the oil and gas industry. Elizabeth started off in Technip with design and installation of flexible pipes, and moved on to DNV for verification work and technology qualification within subsea technology. Then on to project development in Statoil/Equinor, also with focus on subsea developments. Elizabeth is currently part of Lundin’s Field Development department, where she is Project Manager for the Edward Grieg Power Cable project as part of Lundin’s electrification of Edvard Grieg

Arne Skeie has worked 18 years in Subsea 7. Arne has been in the pipeline discipline and in the structural discipline, and has also been working 8 years as Engineering Manager on projects such as Martin Linge, and Ærfugl. Arne is now working as Business Development Manager.Arne graduated from Høgskolen i Stavanger with Master degree in material technology in 1999. He worked as production manager in a factory producing concrete pipes before joining Subsea 7 in 2002.
