Submittal requirements – Call for Papers 2011

The UTC has a well known history of presenting highly competent speakers on current topics regarding the subsea industry.

For your paper the title and all authors must be applied in the submittal. One of the authors must be the designated speaker. Please inform us of the speaker’s full name, work title and company. The speaker must speak English fluently.

The papers must be in English and should be 150 – 200 words plus references. The abstract or presentation must not have a commercial focus.

The programme committee will decide upon which abstracts will be selected to hold a presentation at the Conference. Selected authors will be contacted.

Presentation at UTC 2011

Presentations at the conference are programmed for twenty minutes. A five minute discussion will follow each presentation. Copyright of papers and presentations belongs to UTC and may be distributed to delegates and others electronically in pdf- format at www.utc.no. Note that you will speak to a well informed crowd, please avoid using the limited time on platitudes. The presentations has to be to the point and not a company presentation.

Full instructions on preparation of manuscripts and presentations will be sent to authors of selected papers.

A complementary conference fee including lunches and social events will be provided for speakers (1 speaker per abstract). UTC will not cover other expenses for travel, hotel, food or other expenses, but technical organiser Possibility AS may help to provide hotel reservation in Bergen. Possibility AS will contact speakers to assist with such matters.
