UTC 2023

A great success

UTC 2023 has come to an end, it’s been three fantastic days with key members of the industry. We would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who participated and contributed to this great experience. Here is a taste of what we have been a part of these last few days. Remember to save the date for the 30th Underwater Technology Conference 11-13 June, 2024.

Day 0: Learning, Networking and Fun

The field trip and icebreaker event at the UTC Conference 2023 proved to be a perfect blend of fun, learning, and networking.
We can look back on an enjoyable and educational day, fostering fun and engaging conversations. Numerous connections were formed, leaving attendees with a sense of fulfillment and a memorable experience.

Day 1: Tackling energy trilemma and shaping the future of subsea technology

Day 1 proved to be a captivating day, featuring an impressive lineup of keynote speakers and panel discussions.
The highly anticipated UTC Conference 2023 kicked off in style on its first day, bringing together tech enthusiasts, industry leaders, and visionaries from around the globe. Held in Grieghallen, this year’s conference explored groundbreaking technologies, potential great collaborations and shaped the future of the ever-evolving tech landscape.
In addition to the captivating sessions and exhibitions, the UTC Conference 2023 is a big arena for networking and relationship-building. These interactions may pave the way for potential collaborations that could revolutionize the technological landscape in the coming years.

Day 2: Young talents, innovation and happy exhibitors

We started the day with two impressive student presentations. Jonathan Haglund presented on the use of nanomaterial surface treatments in subsea processing. Abdelrahman Ibrahim explored the potential of underwater snake robots for confined underwater environments.
Parallel sessions centered around critical topics such as subsea processing, renewable energy: hydrogen, wave and storage, leak detection and subsea HV Power. These sessions offered valuable insights and fostered in-depth discussions among industry professionals, paving the way for advancements in these key areas.
The diverse range of topics and expertise showcased the industry’s commitment to tackling challenges and exploring new opportunities in a collaborative and forward-thinking manner.
The UTC Conference proved to be a success for the exhibitors. The event provided a great platform to showcase their products and services. The exhibitors’ efforts were rewarded as they reported significant sales and business leads generated during the conference.
